KiraPixel is engineered as a privacy-first utility tool. We believe that your personal photos, official documents, certificates, and handwritten signatures belong exclusively to you.
Device Permissions Used & Why
KiraPixel requests only the minimal device permissions strictly necessary to perform its advertised utilities:
android.permission.CAMERA
- Why it is needed: To allow you to take real-time photos of physical documents, receipts, book pages, or ID cards for edge detection, filtering, and converting into PDF format.
- How data is handled: Camera frames and captured images are processed entirely within your device's local memory (RAM). No camera feed, image, or video is ever uploaded or broadcasted outside your device.

READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
- Why it is needed:
- To allow you to import photos from your device's gallery for resizing, format conversion (JPEG/PNG/WEBP), and KB/MB compression.
- To save the resulting resized photos (saved to
Pictures/KiraPixel) and generated PDF files (saved toDocuments/KiraPixel) on your device.
- How data is handled: All file reading and writing operations strictly utilize standard Android Scoped Storage APIs, operating completely locally on your hardware.
INTERNET
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
- Why it is needed: Used exclusively by Google Analytics for Firebase to transmit anonymous crash diagnostics and aggregated usage telemetry.
- Note: The core photo resizer and document scanner engine function completely offline without requiring an active internet connection.
Analytics & Diagnostics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To help us ensure application stability, diagnose bugs, and improve user experience across diverse Android devices, KiraPixel integrates Google Analytics for Firebase:
- What is Collected: Aggregated, non-personally identifiable telemetry such as app session duration, screen navigation, general device model, Android OS version, and crash diagnostics.
- What is NEVER Collected: Your photos, imported images, scanned pages, and signatures are never tracked, transmitted, or accessible via Google Analytics.
- Zero Third-Party Advertising: KiraPixel contains zero ads (no Google AdMob, Unity, AppLovin, or external ad networks).
Digital Signature & Document Processing
- When you draw a signature using the built-in Signature Pad, the signature bitmap is rendered and embedded into your PDF file strictly in your device RAM.
- Once the PDF is generated and saved to your device, all signature temporary bitmaps are immediately discarded from memory. We do not store, trace, or keep your signature anywhere.
Google Play Data Safety Compliance
For the purpose of the Google Play Data Safety Section:
App activity (app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics) handled securely by Google Play Services.
None. Your photos and documents remain 100% on your device.
None. Zero third-party sharing or behavioral data monetization.
Analytics telemetry is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.
Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
KiraPixel does not address anyone under the age of 13 specifically. Because the application does not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect any updates in Android operating system requirements or Google Play Developer policies. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
